SCHOOL MEETING. The usual monthly meeting was held on Tuesday evening. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Air. A. Lewis’ (schoolmaster’s; report was read and received as satisfactory. Accounts amounting to £6 Is 6d were passed for payment. The board’s 'workmen have spent some time making alterations at the school residence and remodelling some of the outbuildings. The painters are expected in a few weeks to do all the school buildings. Work for the school concert is well in hand and the children and practising hard for this occasion. ins, H. Meads; general committee, Messrs. N. Amon, L. Huddleston, P. Thorby. R. Mckenzie; hon. secretary, Air. B. Aieads. General.—Subscriptions: 10s. and 5s for volunteers. Condition of club’s championship: Best 10 shots during season, commencing in December, 1935, and concluding on the last- shooting day in June,' 1936. Ammunition as issued to be used only. Afvads Cup conditions: Best 10 shots at 300yds. during the season. 'Williams trophy conditions: Best three shots at 600yds. before Afarch 31, 1936. 7-shots handicap included. Standard for the season; 300yds. 33; 500yds. 34; 600yds. 33; 8()0yds. (10-shc-t), 48; 900yds. (11-shot) 52. ‘ The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman.
