BIG SHIPMENT OF MORRIS CARS
The Rangitata, which is due in New Zealand soon, has among her cargo a shipment of 413 Morris cars-
From the first announcements of the new series cars which Lord Nuffield’s engineers and craftsmen have evolved, the demand for them in New Zealand has been really remarkable. Morris set out deliberately to make cars as people wanted them. They hacl to be cars of lively performance to have ample room for passengers, to glide over all kinds of roads with equanimity. They had to have the stamina to sand up to hard work on colonial roads with a minimum of attention and service. They had to have lines of beauty, t<? appeal in their colour sohemes and appointments. Results seem to prove that Lord Nuffield’s far-sighted policy is meeting with success.
