BANK APPOINTMENTS
TRANSFERS ANNOUNCED NATIONAL BANK OF N.Z. [ Per Press Association. ] • WELLINGTON, Nov. 12. New staff executive appointment! are announced by Sir James Grose, generaljnanagcr of the National Bank of New Zealand. Mr. R. D. MacDonald, manager of the Balclutha branch, will retire on pension on (December 2, after 38 years’ service. He will be succeeded by Mr. L. R. McDonald, at present manager of the Cromwell branch. Mr. T. M. Ellis, manager of the Hawera branch, will transfer to Cromwell and will be succeeded by Mr. L. V. Smith, accountant at Newton, Auckland. Mr. S. B. Hayward, of the general manager’s office, Wellington, has been appointed accountant at the Newton branch.
