DAIRY PRODUCE RECOVERS

LONDON MARKETS VERY FIRM During the last few days there -has been a welcome recovery in the London dairy produce markets. The price of butter, which touched a high level of 127 s on October 14, was down to 97s for first and 99s for finest last Wednesday. By Saturday, however, there had been a recovery of 7s a cwt. to 104 s to 106s*. Cheese which was selling at Qis 6d a cwt. on October 14, was down to 50s last Wednesday, but on Saturday it had firmed to 535. Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated November 9:—New Zealand butter: Finest, 106 s; first, 104 s. New Zealand cheese, 535. Markets very firm.
