PURCHASE OF ’PLANES LIEUTENANT BOLT RETURNS [ Per Preus Associat'on. J AUCKLAND, Sept. 28. Flight-Li-eut. Bolt returned by the Remucru this morning after purchasing in England three de Havilland ’planes lor Cook Straight Airways and three fur Union Airways, He hopes that the Cook Straight service will begin in December. lie said that the trend in aeroplane design in England was departing from the old wire and strut style and approaching more closely to the clcancut lines of the American pro duct. “In England the aeroplane trade is booming, and the internal air services are working at full pressure, ’planes leaving the main centres for London at least three or four times dailv.”
