MRS. M. MOORBY

SUCCESS AT DAFFODIL SHOWS. Airs. Al. Moorby, of Wanganui, has met with considerable success at daffodil shows held recently in Taranaki. At the Inglewood annual show pro meted by St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild, ami held this week, Airs. Moorby secured both the Taranaki open and amateur championships. She also won the St. Andrew’s Guild silver cup for the champion bloom of the show with a St. Egwin (barrii), which beat the Grayling (leedsii), with which, she secured the championship at Eltham. Among her exhibits were a number not shown at Eltham. She displayed three cups and three other trophies won at Eltham.

The judge, Air. Alan Gibson. Alarton, said the champion bloom exhibited by Mrs. Aloorby was one of the finest he had seen.
