SYDNEY WOOL-STOBE FIRE. OFFICIAL ESTIMATE OF LOSS. SYDNEY, Sept. 25. Goldsbrough Mort’s premises are still burning this morning, and it is expected that they will continue smouldering for a week. The damage is officially estimated at £BOO,OOO. The damage to railway property, telephone, and electric lightmains runs into thousands. One hundred and sixty-two Goldsbrough employees have been thrown out of work. BRADFORD COMMENT. LONDON, Sept. 25. Bradford importers express the opinion that the Sydney fire will not nffect the price of wool, alternative supplies being available as the selling season has just begun.
