WAN G A N U 1 CO UNT Y NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council proposes to raise under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act. 1926,” a Special Loan for the purpose of paying to the Main Highways Board the County’s share of tlu* cort of reconstruction and metalling of the County section (approximately 32 miles) of the Wanganni-Horopito Alain Highway (known as the Parapara Road). Tho sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £5OOO, The proposed security for the loan is a Special Rate of One twenty-fourth of a penny in the £ on the capital value of all rateable property in the Wanganui County, and the -provision for the repayment of the said Loan is by means oi a Sinking Fund of Three pounds, ten shillings, per centum per annum on the amount of the loan, the whole loan to be repayable at the end of 20 years. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan or the interest and sinking fund for the first year. Dated this 6th. day of September, 1935. GEO. DARBYSIITRE, County Clerk.
