WANGANUI CLUB MEMBERS’ ANNUAL MEETING NEW SEASON’S OFFICERS The 60th annual meeting of th< Wanganui Rowing Club was held lasi night, the president, Mr. I*. Evans, pre siding over a large attendance of mem bers. The annual report, already published in the “Chronicle,” was adopted. Balance-sheet items were explains by the honorary treasurer and the adoption of the balance-sheet was ap proved by members. The election of officers for the en suing season resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. T. James; president, Mr P. Evans; vice-presidents, Messrs. T Bell, J. H. Clay, M. R. Jones, J. Gilli gan, J. Hoare, R. Northover; captain T. Atchison; vice-captain, V. Clapham; hon. secretary. V. Clapham; hon. trea surer, 8. Hanton; hon. auditor, Mr. R M. Finlayson; committee, Messrs. S. Cass, M. Clay, I’. Marchant, N. Foster A. Turnbull and R. Edwards; selection committee, captain, deputy-captain and Mr. P. Evans; starter, Mr. A. Webster; judge, Mr. J. H. Clay; delegates tc Wanganui Rowing Association, Messrs. R. Edwards and A. Webster. It was resolved that a remit be sent to the New Zealand Rowing Association through the Wanganui Rowing Association that the rule relating tc

It was announced that the draw would be announced during the coining week-end for the club fours and the novice pairs, and members were requested to enter at once.
