CONVERSION OF CARS
POSITION INTOLERABLE AMENDMENT OF LAW CONTEMPLATED [ Ter Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. The Hon. J. Cobbe said to-day in regard to the unlawful conversion c-f curb that the position was intolerable and he had instructed the law drafts man to prepare amendments to. the Pulice Offences Act for submission to Parliament this session. He had promised that the law be amended and the penally be made very drastic.
