WELLINGTON REOORD3 [ Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Sept. 2. Last month was the sunniest August Wellington has experienced since the sunshine records were commenced in 1907. The total bright sunshine recorded was 203.1) hours as against an average for August of 139.8 hours. The previous most, sunny August was in 1923, when 180.7 hours wore recorded. On the whole, the month was more like spring than winter.
