"Sport and General" Photo THE ANTIOCH CUP.— A glass cup, shaped like a chalice, has reached England from Syria, where it was discovered in a cave by missionaries excavating in the Valley of the Orontes, between Antioch and Hamath, the reputed site of one of the earliest Christian churches. It is supposed to be the actual cup used at the “Last Supper,” and is insured for many thousands of pounds. It has now arrived al the Palestine Exhibition, in London, where it will be examined by experts. If it is declared to be the “Holy Grail,” the Archbishop of Canterburv will decide where it is to be kept.
