GALA CONCERT

NEXT TUESDAY AT REGENT POLICE AND PRESS CHARITIES The 1935 Wanganui I’ulice and press charity effort is to be terminated next Tuesday night at the Begent Theatre, when a specially arranged gala concert and picture programme is to be presented. Airs. Wilfred Andrews, of Wellington, New Zealand’s queen of song, will head the programme and will be assisted by Mr. Will Bishop 1 (Wellington) noted entertainer, the George Allen School of Dancing, Gus Large and his Kegent Ambassador ami Miss Thelma Dandy (Hughes-Johnson-Hunter Studio,). The management of the Regent will take pleasure in presenting Sir Seymour Hicks in “Mr. What’s His Name.” This is an outstanding comedy, and has been obtained for a return season in New Plymouth. It is based on the life of a millionaire who, hurt in a train smash, loses his memory and goes forth into the world to begin things all over again. He brings up ten families!
