PROFITS TO GOVERNMENT. SYDNEY a.\l> NEWCASTLE. With tramway earnings in the .Sydney metropolitan and the Newcastle Ham systems (under Government man agemeiit) of £3,321.771. the net profit for the year ended June 30 was £57,272. Government buses innning in the same districts earned £295,921, and the net pre fit was £9748. The Government is gratified by the success attending the change of policy.
