FORDELL SPRING HORSE FAIR. N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the above sale which was held on Tuesday before a good attendance of buyers. The yarding of horses came in up to advertised numbers. We report almost a total clearance, there being a good demand for all classes of horses, particularly draught marfls. A portion of the yarding which did not make the owners’ reserve, was disposed of by private treaty after the sale. Prices were as follow: —Good 3-year mares,• £35 to £44; good young mares broken to chains, £42 to £5O; young draught geldings, £36 to £4B; aged draught marcs, £2O to £3B; hacks, £5 10s to £l6 10s; yearling hacks £2 10s to £ll 10s.
