GATHERING AT CHATEAU FURTHER FALi, OF SNOW. I Per Press Association. ] THE CHATEAU, Aug. 26. About 150 ski-iers, comprising representatives of half a dozen clubs, are assembled at The Chateau for the annual sports meeting of the Ruapehu Ski Club, which commences to-morrow. There was a further snowfall to-day and snow is lying so deep on the skiing ground on Scoria Flat and AD. Ruapehu that the Salt Hut is buried except on one side. A number of skiiers will compete as practice for the New Zealand championship at Mt. Cookearly next month.
