MINISTER’S INSPECTION PASTORAL DEVELOPMENT PRESENT PROSPECTS POOR. [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] SYDNEY, Aug. 26. The Minister of the Interior (Mr. Paterson) has returned from a tour of the Northcn Territoy. He said that he was favourably impressed with the pastoral resources of territory, but could sec no prospect of increasing the development of the pastoral industry while world prices for beef remained at their present low level. .It would not bo possible under the present conditions to proceed with the Commonwealth Government’s plans for development of the territory by chartered companies. x
