Harbour District and Empowering Amendment Act, 1029, authorised to take a pot’, of its ratepayers for the purpose of borrowing (inter ada) £12,000 for raising moles, £lO,OOO for Engineering, promotion, flotation and contingencies and £lO,OOO for plant and equipment AND WHEREAS a poll was so taken and authority was given bv the ratepayers to borrow £12,000 for raising the moles, £3OOO out of the £lO,1 000 for Engineering, promotion, flotation and contingencies and £lO,OOO for plant and equipment AND WHEREAS only £2600 of the £3OOO for Engineering, promotion, flotation and contingencies and £5OOO of the £lO,OOO for plant and equipment has been so raised AND WHEREAS the cost of raising t.e moles will exceed the estimate of £12,000 NOW THEREFORE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the said Board has made application to the Minister for Internal Affairs for insertion of a clause in the Local Legislation Bill of 1935 empowering the Board to divert towards the cost of raising the moles the unexpended balances of the said sums of £3OOO and £lO,OOO viz., £4OO and £5OOO, respectively, which the Board was so authorised to raise as aforesaid. Any persons affected by this proposed legislation may lodge objections tfiereto with the Minister for Internal Affairs, Wellington, such objections to be lodged withih 21 days of the 20th. day of August, 1935, being the first day of the publiilation of this Notice.
