Air. Al. L. Lampe has returned from Sydney, where he has been attending a refresher course at tnu Kodak School of Photography. Mrs Edna Billing, New Plymouth, who won the whistling solo al the Wellington Competitions on •Saturday will bo remembered in Wanganui as Miss Rothcry, who performed hero nn occasions for the Wanganui Garrison Baud. Her favourite tune was ’‘Colonel Bogey” and at one concert in the AlaJest ic she was b\ the band in what turned out to bo the star item of the programme
