SEAMEN S DECISION OWNERS’ TERMS ACCEPTED NO DISCRIMINATION GOVERNMENT SATISFACTION (By Telegraph —Pre;-s Association —Copyright) Received Aug. 25, 6.30 p-m. bi’DNEY, Aug. 25. Fifteen hundred attended yesterday’s mass meeting of seamen, an overwhelming majority decision to accept the owners' terms being received with cheers. The terms offered were that, subject to the union and its members declaring the strike off and offering for all ships in the terms of the existing a/greement between the shipowners and the union, all the owners would instruct the picking-up officers io select suitable men for the immediate manning of the ships, whether they had very good or indifferent dis'charges arising out of the present trouble, and that they be selected without discrimination.
