YORKSHIRE'S SUCCESS CRICKET IN ENGLAND. Received Aug. 23, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 23. By defeating Worcester, Yorkshire became the champion county for the eighteenth time since the championship was instituted in 1373 and the ninth since the war.
