Trading , banks’ deposits at £4.103,065 show an > increase of £84,819. Notes issued have increased by £43,610 to £8.780,052. Other demand liabilities show a fur- - ther increase of £76,509, the total havj ing risen to £408,812. Other liabilities at £63,028 show a decrease of ’ £726. On the assets side sterling exchange at £20,812,821 shows a decrease of £241,697. Gold is still . unchanged at. £2,801,732 10s, but investments have increased by £8783, and now stand at £2,102,858. Subsidiary coin at £223,026. shows a decrease of £1706. Other assets at £26,120 are lower by £2189. The statement balances at £25,966,557 18s fid, a decrease of £236,899 Is
