GENERAL MOBILISATION EFFECT ON LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE LONDON, Aug. 21. The Daily Mail’s Addis Ababa correspondent says it is understood that a meeting of Ministers and tribal chieftains decided on a general mobilisation, and recruiting is being speeded up. Two further divisions have been sent to the Italian forntier. The news of the Ministers’ conference and Mr Ramsay MacDonald’s reference to the situation as the gravest since 1914 has weakened sentiment on the London Stock Exchange, and quotations in many directions closed with material losses for the day.
