MISHAP TO TUG
PATENT SLIP INCIDENT. [ Par Pr«u Aaioclatioa. J WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. A mishap befel the Union Company’s little tug Natone while she was being hauled on to the Patent Slip at Evans Bay this morning. When the pull from the water commenced, the N atone either slipped in the cradle or the cradle gave way and the tug lies at a heavy angle in water which rose high enough up the deck to enter the companion ways and reach over the hatches. Definite information is difficult to obtain. A diver has been down investigating, but what the situation there may be, or what action is neccsary to right the vessel has not been disclosed. The situation appears to be one in which the Harbour Board’s floating crane Hikitea might be able to give assist-
