NAPIER BEAT PALMERSTON. pPer Press Association. ] HASTINGS, Aug. 22. In the annual inter-school Rugby match Napier Boys’ High School defeated Palmerston North by 7 points to 5 at Napier to-day. Palmerston North with the heavier team had better of it for most of the game, but the Napier
defence was solid. For Napier Hickey kicked a field goal and Broughton a penalty goal, while for Palmerston North Graham scored a try which Stuckey converted.
