Holmdale was to lave cleared Wellington last night for Duntd.n. The vessel is scheduled to load for Aanganui as follows:—Dunedin Friday, Gamira Saturday, Timaru Monday, Lyttelton Tuesday and Wellington and Picton Wednesday. ONEHUNGA-NEW PLYMOUTH SERVICE. HAUTURU ALSO DELAYED. The Northern Company’s a.m.v. Hauturu was unable to leave Wanganui la-st night owing to the heavy bean. The vessel is to sail to-day for Pieton and northern porta. (Johnston and Co.) SOUTHERLY DELAYS SHIPPING. Owing to the strong southerly gale which was sweeping the coast yesterday, several vessels were prevented from leaving Wanganui. Both the Inaha and Hawera are still sheltering at Castlecliff, while the Breeze, for Wellington and Dunedin was held up at the Town Wharf. The Hauturu was similarly affected. COAL CARGOES. TITOKI CLEARS NELSON. After being delayed by rough weather, the Anchor Company’s s.s. Titoki, en route to Wanganui from Westport, cleared Nelson early yesterday afternoon. The Titoki is ex- | pected to berth to-day and will sail for Westport and Greymouth after discharging coal. (Cock and Co.) OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castleclifl.) KALINGO’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company's freighter Kalingo 12042 tons. Captain C. Ostenfeid) is at present discharging an Australian cargo at Wellington. The Kalingo is scheduled to load at Newcastle and Sydney towards the end of this month for New Plymouth, Picton and Wanganui. From Wanganui she will proceed to Greymouth. (Millward and Co.).

NAIRN BANK TO LOAD. The Nairnbank is to load phosphate for Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co. The vet&el is due at Castlecliff at about the end of September. HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead.) PORT FAIRY TO LOAD. The C. and D. motor-ship Port Fairy is scheduled to load in the Wanganui roadstead in September. She is at present loading and discharging at South Island i<orts. (Smith, Beauchamp and Co.). THE TONGARIRO. The Federal Steam Navigation Company’s e.B. Tongariro will load for London and West Coast ports of England on September 18 and 19. The vestsel will anchor in the roadstead and take on board a quantity of frozen meat. (Burgess and Co.) THE FORSDALE. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Forsdale is also scheduled to load in the roadstead for Great Britain. The vessel is expected here about October 4. (Freeman R. Jackson and Co.) FROM THE SHIP’S LOG. CANADIAN PLANTER’S LOADING. The Canadian Planter is due at Dunedin on September 29 from Australia to load. She will leave Dunedin on October 1 for Lyttelton and Wellington, where she is due on October 4.
