LONG AUSTRALIAN JOURNEY. Received Aug. 20, 9.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, Aug.’ 20. The barrow-pusher Darwin is well ahead of schedule and hopes to reach Cootamundra during the week-end. He is 265 miles from Sydney and exactly half-way on the journey.
