OFFENCES IN HAWKE’S BAY [ Per Press Association. I HASTINGS. Aug. 9. A further verdict of guilty wag returned by the jury to-day in tile sheepstealing case, charges of this nature against several accused having occupied Mr. Justice Reed at. the Supreme Court, Napier, throughout, the -week. To-day Archibald Robert Wilkie, of Tutira, was found guilty by the jury with a recommendation to mercy, being remanded until to-morrow morning for sentence
