Thu old clothes were sent to the Wanganui branch of the W.D.F.U. f pr distribution amongst the needy. Competitions were won by the following; Cushion, Mrs. Beattie, Rata; turkey, Mrs. Crichton; turkey, Mrs. Lynch; coathanger, Miss Eileen Pollas. A baud of ladies dispensed a very dainty afternoon tea, and in consequence a good bum will be sect to- the Jubilee Cancer Fund.
