CARGOES FROM SOUTHERN PORTS. HOLMDALE NOON TO-DAY. Hohn and Co.’s s.s. Holmdale, with general cargo from Dunedin, via Wellington and Picton, is expected here at about noon to-day. The vessel will discharge at the town wharf and nails to-night on her return trip to southern ports. (Holm and Co.). STORM ALSO EXPECTED. The Canterbury Co.’s s.s. Storm is also expected at Wanganui from southern ports to-day. After discharge at the town wharf she will load for Wellington, Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. The Storm is scheduled to sail to-night. (Millward and Co.). KAPITI FOR LYTTELTON. After discharge at Wanganui to-day, the coastal motor-ship Kapiti will sail for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kapiti is due here this morning with general cargo from Wellington and will probably eail to-night. (Burgess and Co.). THE MOTOR-SHIP BREEZE. En route to Wanganui from Bluff and via ports, the Canterbury Co.’s motor-ship Breeze is listed to continue her loading at Oamaru and Tin v u to-day. The Breeze will complete at Lyttelton to-morrow and Wellington and Picton on Friday. She is due at Wanganui on Saturday. (Millward and Co.). OREPUKI FOR DUNEDIN. The Canterbury Oo.'s s.s. Orepuki cleared Wellington last night for Dunedin, where she is to commence her Wanganui loading tomorrow. The Orepuki will call at Oamaru and Timaru on Friday, Lyttelton Saturday, mid Wellington and Picton on Monday. The steamer is expected at Wanganui on Tuesday, August 13. (Millward and Co.). NEW PLYMOUTH-ON EH UNGA SERVICE. THE HAUTURU'S MOVEMENTS The Northern Company's a.m.v. Hauturu is due at Wanganui from Onehunga and New Plymouth on Friday, August 9. (Johnston and Co.). OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castleciiff). AELYBRYN IN PORT The Norwegian steamer Aelybryn (4437 tons. Captain Thorval Salvesen) is at present discharging a cargo of sulphur from the Texas Gulf at the Cactlecliff Wharf. Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co., are the vessel’s local agents. She is expected to sail to-morrow for Westport and Queensland. OAKBANK IN PORT. The Bank Line motor-tihip Oakbank (3154 tons. Captain Robertson) is al present discharging Nauru Island phosphate for Mtssrs. Kempthorne, Presser and Go. at. the Castlecliff wharf. (Millward and Co.). KALINGO TO LOAD. The Union Company’s freighter Kalingo (2047 tons. Captain Ostcnfeld) is to load at Newcastle and Sydney at about the end of August for New Plymouth, Picton, and Wanganui. She is due here about the middle of September. (Millward and Go.) MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. T. A. Macpherson has joined the Waiinarino as chief officer, relieving Mr. W. Cole, who ha«s transferred to the Poolta, relieving Mr. T. H. Davis for holidays. Mr. H. Ruegg, late second officer of the Makura, is in Auckland on holiday. Mr. J. J. Tait, fourth officer of the Marama, is on sick leave in Sydney. Captain V/ Johansen has resumed command of the Kapiti. Mr. R. Hart is now mate of the vessel, relieving Mr. F. Dewhurst. 0 Mr. L. S.
