BALANCE-SHEET PRESENTED A meeting of the executive of th< masquerade movie, ball committee was held yesterday afternoon, when th 0 bal-ance-sheet was presented, which disclosed a profit of approximately £3O, which will be a welcome addition to the funds of the Wanganui Plunket Society. Th e executive desire to tender their sincere thanks Io the following ladles and gentlemen for gratuitous services, and gifts of various kinds which were mainly responsible for making the function the success it proved to be:—Miss Tizard, Messrs Smith,'James. Ashford, Ross Meikle, Newrick, Timms, Nancarrow, Kernohan’s, Limited, Ka*ox. Ltd., Shepherd’s Stores, D.1.C., McGruer’s, Y.M.C.A., Farmers’ Co-op., Babington’s, Rennie’s, Hamilton’s, Newsome’s, Model Dairy, Horricks’, Garrison Band, Anderson’s Nurseries and the staffs of the Wanganui theatres.
