Using the tonneau of the cab as a shield, Liberi started firing at the police, who put 28 bullets through the tonneau. The bandit finally stood upright, fired the last shot from his weapon, and fell dead. The driver’s neck was Scratched, apparently by one of the bandit’s bullets.
