RESULT OF SURVEY TEMPORARY REPA IRS SUVA, Aug. 3. A Lloyds survey of the Norwegian motor-ship Hoegh Trader, which stranded on the Horseshoe shoal last Sunday, revealed that the bottom of the ship from the stem to the centre of the No. 2 hatch is badly buckled and fractured. Temporary external repairs have been undertaken by packing the holes with bags of cement. The work is estimated to lake a week. The ship will then proceed to Sydney. The Hoegh Trader, 4732 tuns gross, was bound from New Westminster, British Columbia, to Adelaide and became stranded at low tide while travel ling at 11 knots. She was refloated on Wednesday and arrived at Suva on Thursday under her own power.
