A slim, slightly-built twenty t wo yearold girl, Patricia McCain, is to start shortly on an unescorted horseback ride across Europe from Bulgaria tc Moscow. She was an invalid, and went to Bui garia in search of health. Now she has recovered. She has only a little money, and wants to see Central Europe. She thinks she can travel more cheaply and comfortably over the Balkans on horse back than by motor cycle.
