DEMAND EOR WETHERS. The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, received the following advice from its London office, as at close of business last week :—Smaller supplies ttf wethers have caused prices tu harden. There is only a poor demand for ewes. The demand for lambs continues, but it is not quite so brisk. The market for beef is steady. Trade generally is fairly quiet.
