ELECTRICAL STORM
DEATHS IN NEW YORK fcUDDLN DROP IN TEMPERATURE Received July 21. 6.40 p.m. NEW YORK, July 20. The hottest Saturday aUernoon mis summer was bioken by a freak electrical storm at 3 p.m. to-day, which killed four persons and injured a score of others. At the beaches and in the New "York metropolitan area, the tcmperatuie dropped from 90 degrees Fahrenheit to 67 within a few minutes, and torrential rain sent several hundred thousand bathers scurrying for shelter, with con sideiable traffic disorder. Four persons were killed while seeking shelter under a sheet-iron roof. One had just comnfented on the foolishness oi persons staying on the beach 'luring the storm, when a bolt of lightning tore through the structure hoiribly burning and rutilating the bodies.
