J WELLINGTON, July 19. 4 ‘ .Some weeks ago a suggestion was made that there stiould be a parade of returned soldiers at the War Memorial Carillon, but considerable objection was raised, many letters appealing in the Press against any demonstration of a military character. It was announced to-day by the B.S.A. that no parade would be-held. No reason is given.
