AMERICAN BOND CONTRACTS PROTECTION FOR GOVERNMENT Received July 19, 7.45 p.m. WASHINGTON, July 18. By a vote of 258 to 88, the’House of Representatives to-day passed the Administration’s Bill prohibiting suits against the Government for damages growing out of the abrogation of the gold clause in bond contracts.
