FOUND SHOT
UNEMPLOYED MAN’S DEATH. I Per Pre** Association. ] WELLINGTON, July 19. John Janies Beattie Craig, unemployed, who had been missing from his home at Paekakariki since Wednesday, was found lying dead 300 yards away with a wound in the head and a shotgun beside the body. Deceased, who was aged 47, borrowed the shotgun and three rounds of ammunition and went out. saying to his wife that he was going to have a shot at some rabbits.
