WEDDING
ROACHE—BOURKE. St. Patrick’s Church, Mangaweka, was the scenes of a popular and pretty wedding, on July 10, when Myra Julia, youngest daughter of Mrs. ami the late Mr. Wm. Roache, of Kawhatau, Manga woka, was married to John Frederick, eldest son of Air. and Mrs. J. Bourke, of Rangiwahia. The ceremony which was performed by Rev. Father IDoolarghty, was followed by Nuptial Mass. The church was beautifully decorated with arum lilies and spring flowers. Mrs. Phillips being responsible for this artistic work. Miss Noleen, Wright presided at the organ. Miss Claire McKie, of Kapanui, Wanganui, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Afr. Edwin Bourke of Rangiwahia, brother of the bridegroom attended a- best man. . The happy couple left by rar for a I tour of the north.
