LORD GALWAY’S PROMISE. CEREMONY AT OMAHU PA. There were pres ent at the ceremony groups of natives numbering about 2000 from Taranaki, Wairarapa, East (’oast, Bay of Plenty, Wanganui, King Country and Urowera districts. His Excellency was also present to play at a civic reception in Napier, where he also laid the foundation stone of the new art gallery and addressed school children. To morrow he will receive a civic welcome at Hastings in the morning, and proceed south iinme diately after.
