MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING. Scores were below the average at the weekly meeting of the Bulls Miniature Rifle Club on Monday night, and the best scores were returned by the veteran marksman C. M. Broughton with 69’s on the two ranges. On the second range a number of big improvements were noted and N. Amon and C. Anderson both score I possibles, improving from 67 and 66 respectively. The following are the scores:—

Broughton and Anderson. PAREWANUI SCHOOL DANCE. To-night (Thursday) dancers in the Jistrict will have the opportunity of as-ii.-ting the Parewanui School funds by it tending the dance arranged by the «<hoo! committee. The Bulls Town Hall has been selected as the venue for this function, which promises to be very popular. Gedsou’s Dance Band will supply a programme of popular new numbers. For the non-dancers there will be a euchre tournament.
