HOLMES.—On April 29, 1935, at the Wanganui Hospital, Carl 1-rederick Holmes, the elder son of the late C. F. and Sarah Elizabeth Holmes; also dearly beloved brother of Mrs W. Corby and Mrs J. Barnhill, of Wanganui; aged 53 years. Private interment. (West Coast, South Island, papers please copy) Rogers and Dempsey, Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Avenue.
