UNEMPLOYMENT TAXATION QN May 1 there will fall due an instalment of the General Unemployment Levy. The first instalment of the Emergency Unemployment Charge of lOd in the £ on income other than salary or wages, derived during the year ended March 31, 1935, also falls due on the same date. It is essential that a declaration of such income be furnished during May by males (including natives) who have attained the age of 20 years and women. (including native women! whose income other than salary or wages is in excess of £5O. Full information and declaration forms are obtainable at all moneyorder offices. Persons who fail to furnish decalarations as and when required, render themselves liable on summary conviction to a fine of £5O.
