butter prices unchanged. CHEESE MARKET QUIET. The London butter market remained steady last week, with no change in the prices of New Zealand butter, which closed at 76s to 775. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week totalled 1317 tons compared with 1548 tons for the previous week, and 1700 tons a year ago. Australian deliveries totalled 2536 tons, against 2536 tons a year ago. The quantity of New Zealand butter in store has been further reduced, and is now 3800 tons, compared with 4542 tons for the previous week at 10,791 tons a year ago. Qn the other hand, Australian stored butter is now increasing and amounts to 6700 tons, against 5445 tons for the previous week, and 6936 tons a year ago. London advices to the Dairy Board state that 1500 casks of butter were shipped from London to New York last week. This included very little from the Continent. Deliveries of New Zealand cheese last week totalled 14,37.1 crates, against 21,541 crates a year ago, while the quantity in store was 155,306 crates, against 135,340 a year ago.
