OFFENDERS DEALT WITH. Mr. J. H. Salmon S.M.. presided at yesterday morning’s sitting of the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court. Winifred Glenn, for exposing Hee-in-fected sheep for sale, was fined £3 (costs 10s). Hugh. MeSherry, barman, was fined £2 and costs for supplying liquor to a person apparently under the age of 21 years. lan Mclntyre, licensee, was convicted and ordered to pay costs (10s) in connection with the same offence. Cameron, single, aged 28, who pleaded guilty to obtaining sums of money by issuing valueless cheques and to obtaining an overcoat by false representation, was sentenced to reformative detention for a period not exceeding 12 months on the charge involving the overcoat, and was convicted and discharged on the others.
