W\N FOR CLAUDE VARNER Received March 12 1.5 a.m. SYDNEY, March 11. At the Sydney Stadium to-night Claude Varner (9.1) obtained a technical knock-out decision in the eighth round in a contest with Micky Miller (8.8). The latter is a game, bright fighter but. bis opponent was too strong and vigorous.
