IMPENDING DEPARTURE. APPRECIATION OF SERVICES. (Par f’loea Association ). WELLINGTON, March 11. Lord Bledisloe to-day signed his las-t papers as president of the Executive Council of New Zealand as the meeting of the executive, was the last one at which His Excellency would be present before his departure for England. The opportunity was taken by the Hon. G. W. Forbes and the Hon. J. G. Coates to place on record their appreciation of his services as Governor-General. Both paid tribute to the outstanding character of the part played by 'him during his term of office. Lord Bledisloe will to-morrow be. the guest of honour at a Parliamentary luncheon.
