STEAMER JAMES COOK
ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY SYDNEY, March 10. The steamer James Cook, which is to enter the transtasman service, arrived here yesterday from the United Kingdom. She is a steel vessel of 2142 tons and was originally built for the carriage of locomotives, steel girders, and large machinery. Her hatches of 62 feet have many unusual features.
