SHARK MENACE
SYDNEY BEACH PROBLEM SYDNEY, March 11. Sharks were so prevalent during the week-end that the water had to be dared at various times at eight beaches. Mr. Spooner intends to convene a conference of Municipal Councils to determine what are the best methods to combat the menace. The Ministry hopes that additional protection will be afforded to- bathers next season.
